1)      What is being done to tackle theft?

2)      Do you think the development of modern technology has lead to an increase in theft?

Metropolitan Police theft statistics

These figures show the number of offences in the last 12 months and the total number of thefts is 1,208 and this is only in Tower Hamlets. Of that figure more than 60% is robbery on a person at 1,144. This is significantly high as it does not count the other boroughs in London

Change of news story

I have decided to change my news story and this is because theft has been on the rise lately and I want to raise awareness amongst young people as they may be easy victims.
I chose to make my previous story my contingency plan.
